Chennai Super Kings

The three-time champions Chennai Super Kings are having a tough time in UAE. They have secured only four points so far and their last defeat against KKR was heavily criticised for the slow batting from Dhoni and Jadhav during the chase, despite Shane Watson’s impressive fifty. Dwayne Bravo shined with triple scalps, while Curran, Shardul Thakur and Karn Sharma picked two wickets each while maintaining economic figures.

Full Squad: KM Asif, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar, Piyush Chawla, Sam Curran, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Faf du Plessis, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Josh Hazlewood, Imran Tahir, Ravindra Jadeja, Kedar Jadhav, Narayan Jagadeesan (wk), Monu Kumar, Lungi Ngidi, Ambati Rayudu, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore, Mitchell Santner, Karn Sharma, Shardul Thakur, Murali Vijay, Shane Watson.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore have picked up three wins out of five games, although their last face-off against Delhi Capitals ended in a lacklustre 59 run defeat. Except for a stunning 5.00 economy rate from Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj picking two wickets, the RCB bowlers failed to counter the DC batsmen who clocked a score of 196. While the skipper Virat Kohli opened up his batting with a score of 43, the rest of the RCB batting squad looked gleamy with losing wickets too early.

Full Squad: Virat Kohli (c), Parthiv Patel (wk), AB de Villiers, Chris Morris, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shivam Dubey, Aaron Finch, Umesh Yadav, Adam Zampa, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Siraj, Dale Steyn, Moeen Ali, Pawan Negi, Gurkeerat Mann Singh, Isuru Udana, Devdutt Padikkal, Shahbaz Ahamad, Joshua Philippe (wk), Pavan Deshpande.

Waging odds: Chennai Super Kings (2.00) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (1.72)

Chennai Super Kings are the underdogs and are priced at 2.00 meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹200.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are priced at 1.72 and are the favourites. Betting ₹100 on them will earn you ₹172 if they come out as winners.

Our prediction:

Both of CSK and RCB batting order suffered in their previous matches and will aim to score it big today. The in-form Watson will need support from du Plessis, as well as Rayadu and Mahi to put up a substantial total, while the bowling squad needs to repeat their last match performance.

However, the star-studded RCB batting order have proved themselves against all odds and will undoubtedly eye for fireworks. In addition to that, the bowlers will try their best in defending, with Chahal and Sundar leading from the front.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are likely to win the match.
