Mumbai Indians become the first team to qualify to the IPL 2019 final after they comfortably beat Chennai Super Kings by Six wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, in Chennai last night.
Batting first CSK were off to a poor start having lost three wickets in the first powerplay and the team just scored 32 runs. Thanks to the efforts of captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu the team managed to score 66-run in the last 48 deliveries and put up 131 runs on the scoreboard. Dhoni managed to score some compelling runs in the last over of the match against Lasith Malinga.
Chasing the small target MI lost their two early wickets in skipper Rohit Sharma and Deepak Chahar in the first four overs. Wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock also failed to score anything significant as he was out before scoring 8-runs.
But with the valiant efforts of Suryakumar Yadav, the Mumbai Indians managed to pull off this victory. Yadav scored 71-runs off 54-deliveries with 10-boundaries.

Mumbai Indians 132 for 4 (Suryakumar Yadav 71*, Kishan 28, Tahir 2-33) beat Chennai Super Kings 131 for 4 (Ambati Rayudu 42*, Mahendra Singh Dhoni 37*, Rahul Chahar 2-14) by six wickets.
