MS Dhoni, whose career has spanned over 15 years has surely played alongside cricketers with varied age groups. When he initially burst onto the scene, he played with senior established cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble to players such as Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina, who were similar in terms of their age.
However, presently Dhoni is playing alongside the up and coming youngsters of India such as Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav. Interestingly Dhoni has always looked at eased and has gelled well with the younger lot.
It will be fair to acknowledge Dhoni’s pedigree as a player and as a leader, hence a lot of youngsters look up to him in case of dilemma. The incident took place after Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Superkings at Chepauk and booked themselves for the finals of this year’s IPL. MS Dhoni continued on the good form that he has been showing as he remained unbeaten on 37, while Pandya ended up scoring 13 off 11.
