In the fourth match, despite a challenging first quarter, the Indian team put up a strong fight. Germany broke the deadlock early in the game, taking a 1-0 lead. The subsequent quarters saw no goals from either side, despite India’s hard work to score an equalizer.

Germany nearly doubled their lead in the final quarter, but their penalty stroke was denied by India’s goalkeeper. India’s final opportunity of the match came in the form of a penalty corner, but they failed to convert it and conceded a 0-1 defeat to Germany.

The fifth match saw a more high-scoring game, with Germany securing a 6-4 victory. Germany scored early in the first quarter and doubled their lead soon after. Despite trailing, the Indian defence did well to successfully defend multiple penalty corners. Germany struck their third goal soon to put themselves in a dominant position at half-time.

Germany continued to assert themselves in the third quarter, scoring thrice, including a successful penalty corner conversion to take a commanding 6-0 lead. However, India rallied to score four goals and asserted themselves in the second half of the match. Sanjana Horo, Bhinima Dan, and Kanika Siwach scored for India.

Despite the losses, the Indian team showed remarkable spirit and resilience. They displayed their potential and determination, especially in the fifth match where they managed to score four goals after conceding six. These matches were a learning experience for the young team, providing them with valuable exposure and insights into their strengths and areas for improvement.
