Indian golfer Diksha Dagar has become the second Indian to win on the Ladies European Tour after the 18-year-old clinched the South African Open. Aditi Ashok became the first Indian to win on the Ladies Tour way back in 2016. Aditi currently plays in the LPGA Tour.

Diksha Dagar was trailing by two shots in the dying stages of the game but got the better of the veteran Lee Anne Pace with a three-under final round. Diksha’s next ambition is to play in the LPGA Tour, which is a strong possibility given the form she is in now.

In the first day, she scored 76. But, in the second windy day when the scoring was tough, she scored fewer points but managed to stay in the top-20. Diksha Dagar didn’t falter a bit on the second day and finished at five under 211. Lee Anne Pace, on the other hand, ended at four-under 222. And, in the final day, she showed no mercy to clinch the title.
