India’s premier wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been on the rise as of late. The spinner rose through the ranks from his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore and managed to impress skipper Virat Kohli in the process.
Ahead of the much-anticipated tour of England, Chahal revealed to NDTV that he has two more variations in his bag which he plans on to use against the spin vulnerable English batting line-up.
Chahal also added that the strategies on how to use these variations has already been discussed with Virat Kohli. Chahal said:
“I have invented a couple of variations. I will use them against them. I have two deliveries in my arsenal. Kohli knows about it”.
“Virat bhai and I have discussed the plans. We have a decent plan against England. I will execute them”.
Chahal also went on to reminisce his best bowling performance which came when England last toured India. He said:
“It was a memorable spell for me. I still recall it and watch the videos. It is not easy to take wickets in T20Is. I am not nervous. I am excited. I have already played….I mean outplayed them in the past”.
