Waqar Younis, commenting on Star Sports, praised India’s team balance. He said, “India is such a good balanced side. If they don’t bat well, they know they have got Bumrah, Siraj, Ravindra – they have their bowling and fielding also really covered, which makes them a super team.”

However, Waqar also expressed disappointment at Pakistan’s performance. Despite being handed a golden opportunity to win the match, the Pakistani batters failed to capitalize on it. Their inability to chase a small total of 120 reflected poorly on the team’s performance.

This victory has further solidified India’s position in the tournament, marking their second consecutive win. It also highlights the team’s ability to perform under pressure and stage a comeback, even when the odds are stacked against them.
