Rinku Singh’s new partnership with Priya Saroj

Rinku Singh, known for his impressive performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and his contributions to the Indian cricket team, met Priya Saroj through a mutual friend whose father is also a cricketer. The couple has known each other for over a year and needed the consent of their families to formalize their relationship. The two families met at Rinku’s house in Ozone City, Aligarh, where they exchanged ‘shagun’ and gifts to finalize the marriage.

Priya Saroj, a resident of Karkhiyaon village in Varanasi, has been associated with the Samajwadi Party for several years. She was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Machhlishahr constituency in Jaunpur district last year at the age of 25. A former Supreme Court lawyer, Priya first gained prominence while campaigning for her father during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. She graduated in arts from Delhi University before obtaining a law degree from Amity University, Noida.

Rinku Singh is currently part of India’s T20I squad for the upcoming series against England, starting from January 22, and will also be playing in the IPL 2025. The wedding functions will be arranged in a way that does not interfere with his cricketing schedule. The union of Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj is a testament to the blending of sports and politics, and their marriage is eagerly anticipated by fans and well-wishers alike.
