Igor Stimac announces final 23-member squad for the King’s Cup Thailand

Indian national team head coach, Igor Stimac, has announced the final 23-member squad that will represent India in the King’s Cup tournament in Thailand. Jobby Justin and Nishu Kumar were the last two members to be axed from the 37 member squad which were pruned down time-to-time.

India will begin their King’s Cup campaign against Curacao on Wednesday in the semi-final clash. Vietnam and Thailand will square-off in the other semi-final match and the winners will meet on Saturday.

The final list of 23 for the King’s Cup is as follows:

GOALKEEPERS: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (Bengaluru FC), Amrinder Singh (Mumbai City FC), Kamaljit Singh (FC Pune City).

DEFENDERS: Pritam Kotal (ATK), Rahul Bheke (Bengaluru FC), Sandesh Jhingan (Kerala Blasters), Adil Khan (FC Pune City), Subhasish Bose (Mumbai City FC).

MIDFIELDERS: Udanta Singh (Bengaluru FC), Jackichand Singh (FC Goa), Brandon Fernandes (FC Goa), Anirudh Thapa (Chennaiyin FC), Raynier Fernandes (Mumbai City FC), Pronay Halder (ATK), Vinit Rai (Delhi Dynamos), Sahal Abdul Samad (Kerala Blasters), Amarjit Singh (Indian Arrows), Lallianzuala Chhangte (Delhi Dynamos), Michael Soosairaj (ATK).
