International Cricket Council (ICC) recently released the ICC T20 Rankings and new players have emerged in the top ten list. Check out the next section to know more.
Mohammed Rizwan enters the ICC T20 Rankings; holds the tenth position
The rankings saw the Indian captain Virat Kohli and senior opener KL Rahul maintain their fifth and seventh places respectively in the latest ICC’s ranking for T20 batsmen.
Pakistan’s Mohammed Rizwan also made his entry into the top-10. The wicketkeeper-batsman showcased brilliant performances and the unbeaten knocks of 82 and 91 in the first and third matches had earned him the tenth spot.
He had gained five slots to reach the 10th position. He went on to overtake the likes of top stars including the likes of England captain Eoin Morgan and India opener Rohit Sharma. The 30-year-old is the second-highest ranked Pakistan batsman in the list and he is behind his team skipper Babar Azam, who is holding third place.
England’s Dawid Malan with 892 points remains at the top spot while Aaron Finch is placed second with 830 points.
No Indians in the Top 10 of bowlers or all-rounders
It’s a shame that Indian players could not make a mar in the top-10 of either bowlers or all-rounder’s list. In the list of Test batsmen, Kohli is again placed fifth while Rohit Sharma is tied seventh.
Kane Williamson is ranked at the top of the list among Test batsmen. Australian pacer Pat Cummins with 908 points has a crucial 48 points lead at the top among bowlers over while India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has 850 points.

Among Test all-rounders, Ravindra Jadeja holds the third position with Ashwin holds a spot below him. West Indies’ Jason Holder sees himself at the top of the list of ICC T20 All-Rounders.
It is noteworthy that recently, India skipper Kohli relinquished his top spot in the ODI charts to Pakistani ace batsman, Babar Azam who had been in terrific form.
