The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revised the venues for the Champions Trophy tour following objections from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The original schedule included cities like Skardu, Hunza, and Muzaffarabad, which fall in the disputed territory of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). The BCCI raised strong objections to this plan, prompting the ICC to take swift action.
Revised Tour Schedule
The revised itinerary excludes the POK cities and includes the following stops in Pakistan:
- Islamabad (November 16)
- Taxila and Khanpur (November 17)
- Abbottabad (November 18)
- Murree (November 19)
- Nathia Gali (November 20)
- Karachi (November 22-25)

The BCCI’s objection was based on the sensitive nature of the disputed territory and the potential implications for international cricket relations.
