Rohtak Rowdies star player Mohit Kumar had a very fruitful season 1. Hailing from Haryana, it was a dream come true for Mohit to compete for the Rohtak Rowdies franchise of Pro Panja League.
Ahead of Season 2, the Sports India Show had the opportunity to chat with Mohit Kumar ahead of Season 1.

1) How is the training going?
My training is going very well and I have been grinding in the gym. My coach Davinder Kandola is fully focused on me.
2) How was your experience in the first season?
My experience was very good in Season 1 because never in my life I had imagined that I would be on TV and for this I would like to thank Parvin sir and Preeti Ma’am for this opportunity.
3) What do you think will the strategy be in Season 2?
My strategy is usually to go out and win, but in either case I usually make the strategy on the table depending upon the situation. Because player usually think about speed, toproll, hook even before getting on the table and when those strategy don’t work, they get confused. So I always make my strategy on the stage.
4)Your most memorable moment from Season 1?
The most memorable moment for me was when I was making my way to the stage and my parents saw me perform live on TV. There were tears of happiness and when I won my match they were even more happy. After I had won my match, when I was exiting the stadium, the people present there took selfies with me. It was pretty exciting and cool.
6) What can we expect from Mohit in Season 2?
Whatever shortcomings I had in season 1, I have fixed it and I am very confident going into season 2 that I will remain undefeated. People will be surprised by my performance in Season 2. And everyone will be fully entertained, this is my promise.
