Pro Panja League’s 80 kg+ women’s top seed Yogesh Chaudhary is the face of women’s armwrestling in India. She is a multiple time National and State Champion and multiple time women’s Champion of Champions.
Chaudhary, who was born in Palwal, Haryana, has a strong love for sports and a natural drive to lead an adventurous life. But because of obligations to the family, it was postponed.
“In our area, there was no guidance about arm wrestling, when I started even I didn’t know that we would be able to do it as professionals in the future. During my nationals in West Bengal, seeing my biceps my coach told me why don’t you try in arm wrestling. Since then (2021 Dec) I’m into arm wrestling,” Chaudhary said in an interview.
Yogesh Chaudhary competes for the Kochi KD’s franchise of Pro Panja League. The Kochi KD’s franchise is the reigning champions of the season 1 of the Pro Panja League. Widely regarded as the strongest women’s armwrestler in India, she has called out the reigning 65 kg+ champion of India i.e Chetna Sharma.
