India’s cricket fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, set to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 3rd to 20th. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15-member Indian squad, led by the experienced Harmanpreet Kaur, with hopes of ending their title drought.

India faces tough competition in Group A, including arch-rivals Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Harmanpreet Kaur’s leadership will be crucial as India aims to clinch the elusive ICC trophy. With a blend of experience and youth, India hopes to cross the finishing line and bring home the T20 World Cup title.
India will play two warm-up matches before the start of the tournament against West Indies and South Africa on September 29 and October 1 respectively.
