Mumbai Indians have won the Indian Premier League title for the fifth time after beating Delhi Capitals in Dubai on Tuesday, November 10. Their all-rounder Hardik Pandya has played a key role in their team’s win in IPL 2020. He has come to bat when the team required him most and didn’t disappoint as well.

Hardik Pandya smashed 281 runs in 14 matches at a stunning strike rate of 178.98 in IPL 2020. However, after winning the 5th IPL title while playing for Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, Pandya dedicated it to his 3-month old son Agastya. “This one’s for you, Agastya,” he tweeted, along with a picture of him lifting the trophy. “Love this team!” he shared.

Notably, Agastya, who was born on July 30 this year, is the son of Hardik Pandya and his partner, Natasa Stankovic. It is also noteworthy that, the two had announced their engagement earlier in January as well.

Although, Pandya did not bowl this season because he came to this league after having an injury in back and surgery as well. Even, this injury had kept him away from the game for a long time as well prior to the Indian Premier League. However, with a star-studded Mumbai side, he was not needed to bowl too.

“He is not comfortable at the moment to bowl you know, and we have left all the decision on him,” skipper Rohit Sharma had said over Pandya’s bowling for Mumbai.

However, this is not the first time that Pandya has been sharing something about his son on social media. He recently took to Instagram and shared an adorable throwback video where he can be seen playing with his son Agastya. Since he had commitments with his IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians, the all-rounder didn’t get to much time to spend with his little baby boy as he had to join his side in the United Arab Emirates within a month from his son’s birth.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Hardik wrote: “Play time with Agastya, the thing I miss most. I’ll remember these days for the rest of my life”.
