Veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh is all set to start his second innings with acting. The 39-year-old cricketer has recently shared the poster of the movie on his Instagram account and informed his fans the news as well. The movie – ”Friendship” is a Tamil movie which has been directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya and is scheduled to release this year in August.
Currently, the entire world has been fighting against the global pandemic novel coronavirus. This COVID-19 pandemic has either cancelled or postponed every sporting events across the globe which also included the cash-rich tournament Indian Premier League. Even the question raised on the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup as well which is scheduled to take place in Australia later this year.

Earlier it was slated to begin from March 29 but couldn’t take place due to the pandemic outbreak and also got postponed again until April 15 before totally get postponed.
The experienced off-spinner made his debut way back in 1998 and went on to play 103 Tests and 236 ODIs as well. He has 417 and 269 wickets from Tests and ODIs respectively which also makes him the third-highest wicket-taker for India in Tests.
Despite getting a few chances in the shorter format, he has 25 wickets in 28 Twenty20 International games. But he has tasted great success in the IPL where he was a key player for the most successful team – Mumbai Indians earlier. Now, he is one of the important players in another successful team – Chennai Super Kings. He has 150 wickets in the tournament since it’s beginning with the best figure of 5/18.
Meanwhile, the cricketer has come in the limelight recently for slamming former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s comments on Kashmir and the Prime Minister of India – Narendra Modi. Harbhajan Singh shared that he wouldn’t keep any connection with someone who cannot respect the sentiments of Indian people.
