The Gujarat Giants have made significant changes to their coaching staff ahead of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season. The franchise has appointed former leg-spinner Pravin Tambe as their new bowling coach, while Daniel Marsh has been brought in as the batting coach. Michael Klinger, who joined the team last season, will continue in his role as the head coach.

Pravin Tambe joins Gujarat Giants

Pravin Tambe, known for making his IPL debut at the age of 41 with Rajasthan Royals, brings a wealth of coaching experience from his stints with Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. Tambe expressed his excitement about joining the Gujarat Giants and is eager to work with the talented group of players to sharpen their skills and help them excel.

Daniel Marsh, who has served as head coach of the Tasmania men’s team and as an assistant coach for the Australian women’s cricket team, aims to instil a fearless approach to the team’s batting. Marsh is confident that his extensive coaching experience will help make the Gujarat Giants one of the strongest batting units in the WPL.

The team is gearing up for the WPL 2025 auction, which will be held in Bengaluru on December 15. With a focus on fostering a winning mindset and pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve as a team, the Gujarat Giants hope to improve their performance in the upcoming season.
