After Barcelona confirmed the signing of Antoine Griezmann on Friday, the player didn’t waste any time to get the fans excited.
The La Liga champions have officially paid rivals Atlético Madrid €120 million for the 28-year old, by activating his release clause this Friday.
The Forward spent five years at Wanda Metropolitano, and scored 94 goals in 180 appearances accross all competitions for the Rojiblancos.
The World Cup winner, who is to be unveiled this Sunday, has signed a contract of five years at Camp Nou.
However, the Frenchman has already delivered his first message to the Blaugrana fans through a video titled ‘Life is all about second chances’, which was uploaded to the club’s official twitter handle.

“When I was a boy, my dad taught me that trains don’t come around just once,” he said.
“Now it’s time to take on the challenge of a new destination.
“Finally, our paths cross. I’ll defend the Barça colours with all my determination and commitment. It’s our time. This is our path.”
Under club boss Ernesto Valverde, Griezmann is expected to form an attacking trio with fellow teammates Luis Suárez and Lionel Messi.
Although the player rejected a move to Camp Nou back in 2018, to have another attempt at winning the Champions League, but the allure of Barcelona was always there for him.
