Gary Lineker, renowned for his ‘trolls’ on Manchester United and José Mourinho, has made a cheeky peck the club and the manager as Solskjaer’s side secure a 4-0 win over Chelsea yesterday.

The Portuguese was present at the Old Trafford yesterday as a pundit for Sky Sports, and soon after the match, Lineker posted on his official Twitter, taking a sweet jab at his favourite target.
Here is the tweet that has been gathering all the attention-
This is definitely @ManUtd’s best performance with Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The former England international is not wrong- even after Solskjaer succeeded José after being fired by the club, United only managed a sixth place finish last season, with consecutive unimpressive performances, until last evening’s thrashing of the Blues.
Mourinho was sacked by the Devils hierarchy back in 2018 after two and a half season, and has been out of managerial jobs since. Although speculations were coming and going about a fly to Germany or Italy- the ‘Chosen One’ returned to the Theater of Dreams to spectate his two former Premier League clubs go head on.
The youngster Marcus Rashford opened up the scoreline from the spot in the 18th minute, and another one in the second half, within two minutes of Anthony Martial’s and the newcomer Daniel James also found the back of the net.
Even after the impressive triumph over Lampard’s side, Solskjaer suggested that there is more work to be done.
“We know we’re not anywhere near the finished article,” the Norwegian said in the post match interview.
“We are working on improving as a team and finding a style that suits us a team. We still need time but it is coming.”
“Winning is a habit. We are lucky to go in 1-0 up but in the second half our nerves settled, our confidence grew.” he added.
