It looks like good times are yet to come for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Skipper Virat Kohli. RCB have lost their last six T20 matches in the ongoing season and are now at the bottom of the points table.

The most recent defeat came at the hands of Delhi Capitals. Batting first Delhi only managed to put 149 runs on the board. Virat Kohli was the highest scorer of the team. He scored 41-runs off 33 deliveries. However, the rest of the batting lineup apart from Moeen Ali failed to score anything substantial.

Former English skipper Michael Vaughan has said that Virat Kohli should be given some time off for the world cup after the team suffered their sixth straight loss of the season.

If India are smart they rest @imVkohli now for the World Cup … Give him some time off before the big event … #IPL2019,” tweeted Vaughan.

The world cup will start from 30th May 2019. It will be played in England and Wales. If Royal Challengers Bangalore want to qualify for the playoff then they have to win at least seven of their last eight matches.

Every game is a do or die for them and Virat Kohli had previously said that he believes that the team can turn things around in the remaining matches.
