Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez has long been linked with a move to Manchester City and was excused from Foxes’ pre-season training.
As reported earlier today by Sky Sports, the 27-year old will have to undergo a medical in the coming days as Leicester City has agreed to accept £60m for the midfielder.

Manchester City was eager to buy Mahrez in the last transfer window but Leicester City refused to sell him, despite Mahrez handing in an official transfer request.
Riyad Mahrez has been Leicester’s star performer as his contributions led the Foxes to win the 2015-16 Premier League season, their first top-level football championship. He also scored 13 goals in 41 appearances for them last season.
It will be interesting to see how the Algerian national fares in Etihad in the current season.
