Manchester United FC have recently revealed their new home kit for the 2018-19 season on social media.
Adidas Football tweeted a short video on their official Twitter handle (@adidasfootball) a few hours ago which gives us a look on how Juan Mata looks when he dons the new home kit.
The official tweet:
Inspired by the Railway Men of Newton Heath.

As we can see in the video, the inspiration for the design comes from the 140th anniversary of the founding of the club with a train track graphic on the front of the shirt.
Originally known as Newton Heath Railway Cricket FC, the club was founded in 1878 by the Carriage and Waggon department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway depot at Newton Heath.
The club initially played games against other rail companies at their home ground at North Road in Manchester before entering the English First Division in 1892.
Newton Heath was kept in the name until 1902 when it was decided a change was needed given that the team had few ties with its origins and was no longer based in Newton Heath.
Manchester Celtic and Manchester Central were considered before Manchester United was selected; the team’s colours were also changed to red and white.
