Harry Kane scored a fine hat-trick as England ran riot of their opponents Panama by 6-1.

In a match where the 3 Lions were expected to win, they made easy work of their opponents. John Stones opened the scoring for them scoring a fine header from a corner in the 8th minute.

Kane doubled the lead in the 22nd minute when he converted from the spot after Cooper had brought down Lingard inside the box. The later also joined the party as he scored a superb goal from outside the box. It was soon followed by another one from Stones who completed his brace.

Right at the stroke of half time Escobar commited a foul inside a box urging the referee to call for another penalty. Kane once again converted this to go into the break being 5 goals up.

Coming back from the break Harry Kane completed his hat-trick as he deflected the shot from Loftus-Cheek. Panama got their consolation goal in the 78th minute through Felipe Baloy. His goal also marked the first goal that Panama have scored in world cup history.

This win puts both England and Belgium into the round of 16. They face off each other on Thursday to find out who tops the group.
