Denmark will go head to head against one of the favourite teams in this World Cup, France, in their last group game of the World Cup.
Both teams have faced each other 15 times in international matches with France having a much better track record of 8 wins to Denmark’s 6, plus 1 draw.
This is the pair’s third meeting in the FIFA World Cup: France prevailed 2-1 in 1998, whereas Denmark triumphed 2-0 in 2002, in what remains their last victory to date over France.
Denmark will be without William Kvist, who suffered a rib injury against Peru.
France’s centre-back Samuel Umtiti has been struggling with a thigh strain and may be rested. Adil Rami is the most likely to take his place.
The match will take place at Luzhniki stadium, Moscow and is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm IST. It will be telecast live on Sony Ten2, Ten3 and ESPN.
