Belgium take all the 3 points as they beat their opponents Panama comfortably by 3 goals to nil. After a poor first half display from the Red Devils, they came back strong in the second half with goals from Mertens and Lukaku.

Panama who weren’t given much of a chance went into the break looking to snatch some crucial points as their defense was able to hold the star studded attack.

2 minutes into the second half saw Mertens score an amazing volley to put the Red Devils ahead. This first goal was followed by 2 more from Romelu Lukaku in the 69th and 75th minute to put the game to bed. Most of the credit for Lukaku’s first goal was given to De Bryune for picking out an amazing pass to find the striker.

Belgium showed why they are still among the elite by displaying a flamboyant style of football in the second half even after failing to deliver it in the first. They currently stand first in the group with England and Tunisia due to meet later today.

Here is the highlights of the match.
