Apparently, Gagan Narang had a favorite rifle in his shooting range but the owner sold it to someone else. Narang was distraught and came home crying. His father couldn’t bear it and sold his house so that his son could have his own personal rifle!

20 years ago this man standing next to me sold his house to buy a rifle for me .. not because he knew I would go on to win medals for the country one day But it was when I came back home crying from the shooting range because the owner of the gun I was using sold it to another shooter. We stayed on rent for 20 years He didn't know how far I would go in the sport back then or that I would shoot a world record , be world number 1 and go on to win an Olympic medal for India He did what a father needed to do .. to bring a smile on his sons face. Happy Fathers Day dad … cannot repay this debt ever 🙏🙏 #happyfathersday to all the dads out there who move heaven and earth for their sons and daughters only to see them smile. #respectparents

His parents stayed on rent for twenty years whereas Narang etched his name in history books and won an Olympic bronze medal for India in an attempt to repay his debt.

“Happy Father’s Day, dad. [I] cannot repay this debt ever. #HappyFathersDay to all the dads out there who move [to] heaven and [leave] earth for their sons and daughters only to see them smile,” finished Narang.
