Argentina football team’s twitter fanpage Mundo Albiceleste admin Roy Nemer has taken a sarcastic mockery at Scaloni’s tactics against Columbia in the Copa America tournament last Sunday.

Argentina, world class, revolutionary tactics and formations by coach Lionel Scaloni. pic.twitter.com/dqzfZUwZF3

many followers retwetted on this after it went viral, taking a dig at the team’s performance.
They are using the new perimeter formation mind you

Some even mentioned FC Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola, ironically putting him below Scaloni.

The Scaloni octagon > Guardiola pyramid

@RoyNemer himself replied to @phccar who believed the formation had no problem.
If you look carefully, Casco is getting the ball. If Messi makes that diagonal run through, he's clear on goal. Pep wishes he had an eye for tactics like that.

@sreak1089 jokingly compares Argentina’s formation to a cricket one mentioning the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
Cricket world cup is going on so, it's a Cricket theme formation when opposition team is trying to hit sixes 🙂

@itshassan1988 lists his opinion on what the Argentina national team lacks, and the list is indeed a mouthful.
#Argentina lacks:
1. Good coach
2. Team play
3. Coordination
4. Technique
5. Surprise element
6. Squad management
7. Daring
8. Spirit
9. Defense
10. Midfield
11. Experienced players#Argentinian football has failed to give good players post #Messi— حسن (@itshassan1988) June 20, 2019
@Dannn777, a Ronaldo fan, takes a jab at Messi and his performance in the Columbia match.
And a world class performance from Messi pic.twitter.com/EyXbrBFZVJ

@asdk_0 also humorously mentions that the fans would rather bring political issues than to look at Messi’s faults.
Blame Putin, blame mideast crisis, blame inflation in Venezuela but not Messi 😂😂😂😂😂😂 you guys are soooooo….awesome😂😂😅😂😂😂

@MrShank15 expresses his disdain of Scaloni, who cannot make out how young football fans are able to understand the issue with the formation, but a seasoned manager like Scaloni cannot.
I can't figure out how a 12-year-old football fan can understand there's something wrong here.
But scaloni who is a semi-experienced coach who understands at least one thing about football dont solve that issue from more than a year.
I'm really asking.— Mr. Shank (@MrShank15) June 20, 2019
@Georges88k believes the AFA needs to look for a foreigner coach because the ones from the country never start with Agüero.
I think Argentina should start to look over and get a Manager who is not an Argentina in the roots. Who the fuck in hell starts with Aguerro on the bench, come on man.

@MS_Aalmalik tweets that even Edgardo Bauza and David Moyes look brighter compared to Scaloni.
Scaloni makes the likes Bauza and Moyes look like legends

@adhithya35 sardonically explains the ‘brilliance’ of the failed formation.
Just one pass away from a one on one situation with GK. Brilliant tactics imo pic.twitter.com/753KQWOukU

@Deutsch_Watuma mocks the formation, drawing a comparison to the coach’s heart.
The idea was to surround Colombian players😂😂😂. This 4-4-2 looks like scaloni's heart "❤"😂😂😂😂

@Named_SK mentions that such a tactic that weakens both the offense and defense of the team must be deliberate.
This tactic kills any chance of an attack or possession by Argentina whilst simultaneously exposing them at the back🤣🤣
This has to be intentional
