Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was sensationally sacked a couple of days back and not many players have spoken out. Infact, Jose Mourinho himself has decided to be grateful in conduct after the sacking and hasn’t given out any internal details much contrary to his nature.
Ivorian defender Eric Bailly has spoken out about the nature of his relationship with the gaffer through a instagram post. Prior to this only Lingard had posted regarding the same on social media – an Instagram story captioned “thank you for the wisdom” alongside a photo with the former boss earlier today.
Bailly posted two images of himself and Mourinho together on Instagram along with the caption: “Whatever they may say, I will always be thankful to the person who gave me the chance to make my debut at Old Trafford.
“Thank you for what you have taught me. Good luck, coach,” he added.
Bailly was Mourinho’s first signing when he arrived at Old Trafford, spending £30m to bring the centre-back from Villarreal.
He initially impressed in the Premier League but fell out of favour as time progressed and was in and out of Mourinho’s plans prior to his sacking which is why such a reaction was not expected from the Ivorian.
