English Cricketer Danielle Wyatt has always been in the news for her happy go lucky behavior. She has once again made the news and this time for her remarks on Indian spinner Yuzi Chahal. Chahal received a funny remark on his height from Wyatt, after he shared a photo with Kuldeep Yadav on Instagram.

Chahal shared the photo before the first ODI against West Indies and captioned it “Making headshots look fun here in Chennai,”. To which the English cricketer commented “I think you’re smaller than me”.

The Indian team lost the first one-day international against West Indies by eight wickets. Young windies batsmen Shimron Hetmeyer and Shai Hope capitalized on their good form and went beserk as West Indies defeated India by 8 wickets, scripting a great win against India in Chennai.

As Yuzi Chahal didn’t feature in the playing XI, his counterpart Kuldeep Yadav went wicketless for 45 runs in his prescribed 10 overs at the spin friendly MA Chidambram Stadium in Chennai.

India scored 287 in 50 overs after the Kohli and Rohit Sharma got out cheaply aainst some good bowling and captaincy by the Kieron Pollard and West Indies. It was Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer show which didn’t allow the Windies pacers expose the weak Indian middle order.

However, blowers failed to defend the total as Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer smashed centuries to help the West Indies chase down the target with 13 balls to spare and took a lead in the three match series against India.

“We thought six bowling options would be enough. I don’t think pitch changed drastically, they batted brilliantly. The spinners were getting help but they put pressure on our spinners brilliantly. Hetmyer’s innings was outstanding,” India captain Virat Kohli said at the post match presentation.

India will need to win the second One Day International at Vishakapatnam ,in order to stay in contention to win the three match series.
