It seems England players can’t stay out of the game as they were seen playing football during a rain break on day one of the first Test against Pakistan. However, they put their heads together to complete football’s bin challenge!
After a few warm-up attempts, seven players came together to head a ball from the players’ balcony at Emirates Old Trafford into a bin at pitch level without the ball touching the ground.
Fast bowler James Anderson started doing it alongside captain Joe Root and Chris Woakes upstairs before the thing was extended by Mark Wood, Jos Buttler, Dom Bess and Ollie Pope downstairs near the boundary boards where Wood finished it by a stunning header at the end.

The ‘goal’ saw the joyous celebrations among the England players not only who were involved in this football bin challenge but also their team-mates and support staff which also included head coach Chris Silverwood.
However, back in January, the team were banned from playing football during their practice after Rory Burns suffered a dangerous ankle injury during a pre-training game on the eve of the second Test in South Africa. But this time it was different.
Notably, England is the first country who have hosted the first international series amid the global pandemic novel coronavirus outbreak. The COVID-19 outbreak not only postponed or cancelled every sporting event across the globe but also claimed several lives by far. While nearly 18.8M people have been affected by the deadly virus around the world, almost 706K people have lost their lives as well.
Among the postponed leagues, 13th edition of Indian Premier League was there as well which was earlier scheduled to take place in March but got postponed until April 15 before postponed for an indefinite time period due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. However, the league is finally going to take place in the UAE from September 19 and the final will happen on November 10.
