An early look into the World Test Championship table

With the majority of the teams having played their initial games of the World Test Championship, let us have a look into how the teams shape up in their journey to Lord’s in 2021.

After having trumped the Caribbean in their own den by a substantial margin, it is India who have the early advantage in the table. With 120 points they have a substantial lead ahead of the other sides.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka and New Zealand take up the next two spots with 60 points each after winning one test each on the island nation.

The final positions of Australia and England is still up for grabs as they are midway through the Ashes with two more tests to go. They are currently equally poised with 32 points after winning one and drawing one test. West Indies are yet to open their account after losing both tests to India.

Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa are yet to commence their World Test Championship fixtures.
