High Jump T63 at Paris Paralympics
The men’s high jump T63 event witnessed an intense competition, with India’s Sharad Kumar and Mariyappan Thangavelu securing the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Sharad Kumar, a seasoned athlete, cleared a height of 1.88 meters, earning him the silver medal. His compatriot, Mariyappan Thangavelu, who has been a consistent performer in para-athletics, achieved a height of 1.85 meters, clinching the bronze.
Javelin Throw F46
In the men’s javelin throw F46 event, India continued its medal-winning spree with Ajeet Singh and Sundar Singh Gurjar securing the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Ajeet Singh delivered a stellar performance with a personal best throw of 65.62 meters, earning him the silver medal. Sundar Singh Gurjar, known for his consistent performances, secured the bronze with a throw of 64.96 meters.
