Novak Djokovic became the winner of the classic final of Wimbledon with beating Roger Federer in a five set thriller. The match ended with a scoreline of 7-6 1-6 7-6 4-6 13-12 in favour of Novak Djokovic. The Serbian star Tennis player won three sets in tiebreaker to clinch the Wimbledon title this year.
It was an absorbing contest for both the players; but Novak won the match with winning crucial points at crunching moments. Roger Federer also had two Championship points; but Novak Djokovic came back to win the title from that point of the match.
In the first set, no player was able to break the service of each other. Novak won the set in tiebreaker. In the second set, Federer broke the service of the Serbian star player twice and clinched it with ease. In the third set, Novak came on top with a win in the tiebreaker. Roger Federer also came back in the fourth set with breaking the service of Novak.
After all these incidents, Novak was able to keep his nerves till the end. It was the longest ever Wimbledon final. Roger Federer gave his full energy to win this match; but the day was written for Novak Djokovic.
