Former Team India captain MS Dhoni will make his farmhouse in Ranchi open to the public for three days on the occasion of Holi. The people will get to visit the lush 43-acre farmhouse in the state capital during the festival of colors.

The majority of the farmhouse is dedicated to agriculture, with Dhoni having a keen sense towards it. The general public will be allowed to procure agricultural produce such as strawberries from March 18 to 21. According to reports, the strawberries are priced at INR 50 for 250 grams.

Dhoni’s Agriculture Consultant Roshan Kumar told India Today:

“MS Dhoni cultivates strawberry, papaya, and guava, watermelon, peas, capsicum, fish, and wheat on a large scale in this farmhouse”

Kumar also added that the 41-year-old visits the farmhouse from time to time and even works in the fields.

MS Dhoni is currently in Surat training with the CSK squad 

The veteran wicket-keeper, who was last seen in the 2021 IPL, is slated to be working on his match fitness after being out of action for over 4 months. Dhoni is currently in Surat, where the Chennai Super Kings training camp is being held.

He was retained as the second-choice player following the previous edition of the IPL. Apart from Dhoni, the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad were retained.

Chennai Super Kings will open their IPL 2022 campaign against the Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
