Kings XI Punjab under the captaincy of Ravichandran Ashwin have started this season of the Indian Premier League brilliantly. They have won three of their five matches.
Kings XI Punjab are third in the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table after getting three victories in four matches so far. The highest run scorer for the Punjab team is David Miller. He has had a brilliant season so far.
Miller praised Ravichandran Ashwin and has said that playing under him is a ‘Great experience’.
“It has been a great experience. His knowledge of the game is very good and he reads the game well. His leadership skills – especially player management – has also been quite good,” Miller said in an interview with Hindustan Times.
Highlighting the team’s exciting win over Delhi Capitals, Miller said that it was a very important victory for the team.
“It was a massive win for us. It is all about confidence and momentum and how we have played against RCB and Rajasthan (Royals) was quite impressive. Those were very important and it has been good for the team as well to win those two matches on the trot,” Miller told Hindustan Times.
“It is very hard to point out any one thing but I can say that everyone has carried out their roles properly and at this moment, we have a really happy dressing room,” Miller explained.
