CWC 2019: WWE Champion Kofi Kingston wishes World Cup success for India

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston extended his wishes to the Indian Cricket Team who are currently in the pursuit to win their third World Cup title. Kingston wished luck to Virat Kohli and co. in their long journey.

In a tweet uploaded by WWE India, the champion introduced himself before wishing luck to the Men In Blue. Kingston said:

This is your WWE Champion here Kofi Kingston with a very important message for the Boys in Blue. That’s right – Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni and the rest of Team India. I want to wish you the utmost luck in the ICC Cricket World Cup, baby! Do it!”

Kingston is no stranger when it comes to India, the champion has visited the country as part of the roster for the WWE India live event as well as making a trip over during the IPL season.

The member of New Day becomes one of the many celebrities offering their support to the Men In Blue. Earlier, Chelsea defender David Luiz was seen with a message backing the Blues.

The WWE Champion is currently in Saudi Arabia for the WWE Super ShowDown event where Kingston defended his WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler.

Team India, on the other hand, began their journey on a clinical note after overcoming South Africa in their maiden clash. The team is currently preparing to face Australia at The Oval on Sunday.
