Team India have always been known for its signature blue kits over the years. The shades might have evolved, but the basic tone has remained the same. But with the new norms in place, the team will have to sport a different jersey during the games where they have been slotted as the away side.

For the clashes against England and Sri Lanka, owing to the similarity of the colours of their jersey, the Men In Blue will be donning a different jersey which is rumoured to have an orange shade to it.

Apparently, the images of the highly-anticipated away kits are making the rounds on social media. The jersey has an orange tint to it but it primarily dominated by a dark blue colour which was sported by India during the 1992 World Cup.

The image which is currently being circulated in the social media was initially shared by die-hard Sachin Tendulkar and Team India supporter Sudhir Gautam. Have a look at the image below:

However, it is to be noted that neither the ICC or the BCCI have released the official images of the jersey as of yet.

We’ll have to wait for the eve of the clash at Birmingham to truly know the mystery behind the much-hyped Indian alternative jersey.
