Shoaib Akhtar was one of the first names to criticize Ahmed on his fitness while also proceeding to call the captain “brainless” after a series of tactical mistakes that cost them the game against India.

In a video that has surfaced online, a Pakistani fan is seen asking Sarfaraz Ahmed for a selfie at the mall. Things took a turn for the worst, as the fan began to publically body shame the player by calling him “fat as a pig”.

Sarfaraz, who was along with his son during that time, can be seen ignoring the insults and making his way away from the fan.
