Cricketers and Indian athletes mourn the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput, the revered Bollywood actor and famed for his acclaimed for his portrayal of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the biopic ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, committed suicide at his home in Mumbai today. While the nation mourns the tragic passing of such a talented actor, cricketers and other sportspersons of the country take to social media to grieve for the 34 year old actor.

A celebrated actor in the Indian cricket fandom for his role as Dhoni, along with numerous other films such as ‘Kai Po Che (his debut), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Kedarnath, Chhichhore etc, that were commended by the cinema frenzy citizens of the country, Rajput was discovered hanging at his residence in Bandra in the early hours of Sunday.

From the current and former stars of the Indian cricket team, to many other athletes of the country have taken to Twitter to pay their respects to Rajput.
