The all-rounder had revealed his desire to play for overseas T20 leagues and it is yet to be known that if Yuvraj Singh has sought permission for the same or not.

Yuvraj had stated in his retirement press conference that he is looking forward to playing the overseas T20 leagues for fun. The 37-year-old was an integral part of India’s white ball setup for a majority portion of his career. He said:

“I want to play T20 cricket. At this age, I can manage to play some kind of fun cricket. I want to go and enjoy my life. It’s been too stressful just thinking about my international career, performing and big tournaments like the IPL,”

This would mark the second edition of the tournament with Vancouver Knights winning the first installment of the competition.

The addition of Yuvraj Singh would benefit the Toronto Nationals immensely after their disappointing last-place finish last year.
