To add to his illustrious career, former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is speculated to have a stand at the JSCA Stadium by his name. The stand will reportedly bear the name “MS Dhoni Pavilion”.

After having already achieved almost everything as a player as well as a captain, MS Dhoni is set to be honoured by his hometown of Ranchi by naming a stand after the hero.

As per social media outlets, placards for the same have already been placed in the ground situated in Jharkhand.

The stand is likely to be unveiled during the 3rd ODI between India and the visitors Australia which is scheduled to be held in the same ground.

While the people of Ranchi never lost hope, the country’s trust in the veteran faded a little after a rough 2018. But those doubts have been squashed after Dhoni’s impressive outings in Australia and New Zealand.

Indian selector MSK Prasad too chimed in to praise Dhoni and his role in the upcoming 2019 World Cup. He said:

“Undoubtedly. He is going to be the most important guy for India in the World Cup: be it in his advisory role to Virat, be it with his wicketkeeping, be it with is on-field mentoring of young players,”
