The Prince of Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly turns 46 today. Commonly known as Dada, Ganguly was instrumental in taking Indian Cricket to a whole new level.
Captaining the side from 2000 following the match fixing scandal he lead a relatively young side to Champions Trophy and Natwest series success in 2002. Beating all odds he also lead India to a world cup final in 2003.
Ganguly is also credited for introducing youngsters such has Yuvraj, Dhoni, Kaif to name a few into the Indian team setup.
