Premier League fans will have fresh memory of both Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho and the feud between the two. They have had their bitter exchanges in Serie A and brought it along to the PL. Since then, the matter hasn’t been closed and finds its own headlines in an article such as this.
The ill-feeling between the pair reached its peak when Conte suggested Mourinho was suffering from senile dementia, leading the Portuguese to dredge up accusations of match-fixing which bothers his rival in the past.
Referring to Mourinho’s gesture earlier this season, Conte said: ‘He won the treble [with Inter] and three Premier League titles with Chelsea, so I think he is entitled to do that gesture. ‘However, respect is needed. Both from fans and managers. He’s won a lot during his career, and in this gesture, there is everything about Mourinho.’
