Eden Hazard proudly displayed his famous ‘dad bod’ in Madrid’s pre-transfer medical test, a traditional customary for players joining Los Blancos to have a “topless, lying down on a hospital bed with a thumbs up” picture.
The Galacticos have always followed the practice year after year, from the days of David Beckham and Emmanuel Adebayor to the present Gareth Bale and also the former club giant Cristiano Ronaldo.
But pitching against to the muscular and athletic finesse of the 34-year old CR7, who is still in his prime both on the field and in front of the mirror, the 28-year old Belgian looked less ripped, with his ‘dad bod’ being compared to the muscular aesthetics of Ronaldo.
It is the latest installment of a year-long running joke on the slender built of the Belgian superstar.
Last summer, fans went gaga over Hazard’s dad bod, which was snapped on his holiday with wife Natacha and kids Yannis, Samy and Leo, after helping to lift his team at 3rd place at the World Cup.
In spite of the lean frame, Hazard hyped up a crowd of 50,000 this Thursday when he was unveiled at Santiago Bernabéu, where he kissed the badge of his new jersey, followed by some kick-ups.
