David Beckham is going to begin his managerial career at Inter Miami from the next season. He has proposed to build a new stadium at a place where the soil is contaminated. Few days ago, there was a check of the soil material at the place of newly proposed stadium. The report of the soil check revealed that the level of arsenic was really high.
The arsenic level of the soil was more than twice in the soil than the legal limit. According to the report of Commission Chairman Ken Russell, it was the most contaminated park of the City. Not only Arsenic, the Barium and lead level is also high in the soil. According to an estimate, the waste clean up cost will be around £41 million. The cost of this clean up will be paid by the club management of Inter Miami and the City Council will not take the charge of it.
Inter Miami are planning to make of stadium with 25k capacity at the proposed area. They have other future plans too for the stadium. So, the club management of Inter Miami will be eyeing to bear the wages of the stadium clean up in their own shoulder.
