Chelsea want £100 million for Eden Hazard if Real Madrid come knocking

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has since long been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge all the way to Spanish giants Real Madrid. However, the Premier League side have demanded an insane £100m fee if they are to lose the Belgian to the multiple La Liga champions.

Hazard has about 18 months still remaining on his contract with Chelsea, and is highly linked with a move to the Spanish capital in the summer. The possibility of an extension of his deal with them still remains in the shadows. Should he ask to leave the London club, according to reports, Chelsea will be willing to part with a single penny less than a £100m asking fee.

A decision on Hazard’s part is to be expected as to what he would like to proceed with doing. Although the Los Blancos have remained long time admirers of the 28-year old Belgian striker, Hazard himself has made known his aspirations to don the Galacticos’ prized white kit.

While the Blues remain steady on determining their star striker’s future with them, Hazard remains confident that Real will confirm with him by the end of this month whether or not they will acquire his services come summer.

With the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic earlier this month, Chelsea appear to have confidence in Hazard’s exit from the club. Reportedly, Real lack on transfer budget in order to make the deal possible and it is hoped that Mateo Kovacic could act as a makeweight in any deal with the Croatian currently on a season-long loan from the Bernabeu.
