Chelsea sealed a nervy win against Malmo FF in the first leg of the round of 32 in the Europa League. The Blues were under deep pressure after the heavy defeat against Manchester City in the Premier League in the previous weekend. This win against Malmo FF will certainly boost up their confidence level before playing against Manchester United in the sixth round of the FA Cup.

Maurizio Sarri did not make many changes in his side in the match against Malmo FF. Christensen came in place of Antonio Rudiger and Emerson Palmieri came in place of Marcos Alonso. Olivier Giroud and Willian started this match in place of Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain. Ross Barkley gave the lead to the Blues at the 30th minute of the first half.
