Chelsea eased past Sheffield Wednesday to reach the 5th round of the FA Cup. Gonzalo Higuain made his debut for the Blues in this match. The star Argentine centre forward could have easily scored his first goal for the Blues in this match. However, he gave Willian the chance to score from the spot.

Eden Hazard was not in the matchday squad of Chelsea in this match. David Luiz, Jorginho, Kepa Arrizabalaga, N’Golo Kante, Pedro and Olivier Giroud were in the bench for the Blues. Chelsea as usual dominated the possession and lacked creativity in front of the goal. Willian gave Chelsea the lead in the first half with a goal from penalty spot.

Callum Hudson Odoi doubled the lead for the Blues in the second half of the match. The youngster of the Blues handed a transfer request on Friday. However, he started in this match for the Blues and scored a beautiful goal. Olivier Giroud came in the field at the 81st minute of the match in place of Gonzalo Higuain.

Willian scored the third goal for Chelsea and sealed the match for the Blues. It was a good link up play between him and Giroud which resulted into the Goal for Chelsea.
