Arsenal went through to the Final of the Europa League with a convincing win against Valencia on Thursday. The Gunners were holding a lead of 3-1 after the first leg at the Emirates. The things didn’t start as per the wish of the Gunners. Valencia took the lead at the 11th minute when Kevin Gameiro scored. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang equalised the scoreline for the Gunners at the 17th minute of the match from the pass of Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette made it 2-1 for the Gunners at the 50th minute of the match. Kevin Gameiro equalised the scoreline for Valencia. However, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored another two goal to complete his hat-trick in this match. The match ended with a scoreline of 2-4 in favour of the Gunners.
The win of the Blues was not as convincing as their rivals. Ruben Loftus Cheek gave them the lead in the first half. However, Luka Jović’s strike made the scoreline 1-1. The match went into tiebreaker. Kepa Arrizabalaga’s heroics helped Chelsea to go through to the Final of the Europa League.
