Raul Jimenez scored the first goal of the match at the beginning of the second half of the match. It was a mistake of the defensive lineup of the Blues. The Blues were not able to create any clear cut chance to make it count till the very end of the match. Wolverhampton Wanderers defended with 10 men lying deep in their own half.
Maurizio Sarri brought in the likes of Ruben Loftus Cheek, Callum Hudson Odoi and Willian in the second half of the match. Their inclusion helped the Blues to create more pressure on Wolves. At the 92nd minute, Eden Hazard’s strike from outside the box rescued one point for Chelsea.
